~~~Enderlox's P.O.V.~~~
"Sky! I'll protect you, I promise. Come here," I say, sitting against the wall. Sky crawls over to me and I pull him onto my lap. I begin to feel slightly woozy, but I ignore it, for it was not as bad as before.
I've came to the conclusion that when me and Sky make contact in anyway, we manage to make each other sick, and when we show affection for each other, like when I kissed his forehead, it would sting.
But I don't care.
I'm going to protect him.
"Pull your legs up," I instruct surprisingly calm. Sky obeys, curling up into a ball and lacing his fingers into my shirt.
I wrap my tail around his waist, and keep it winding around his legs until it reaches his feet. I wrap my arms around his shoulders, and wrap both of us fully in my wings. We both tuck our heads down, waiting for everyone to return.
~~~Random servants P.O.V. that's running to help Enderlox~~~

"WITCH! HE'S A WITCH!" Sarah (random name) screams, skidding around the corner.

"Who?!" I question, "and how do you know this person is a witch?"

Sarah runs up to me, "Enderlox's new slave! He made him sick, I saw it! I swear to Notch!"

"Bu-... You can't just make a demon sick! Especially a demon king!" I argue.

Sarah grabs my arm, dragging me along with her as she runs down the hall screaming. Eventually she attracts enough demons and we all run back down the hallway to where Enderlox was.

We run down the hallway, just to skid to a stop and walk slowly up to Enderlox, who had his wings tightly wrapped around himself and his head down.

"Don't you take one more step," Enderlox growls, keeping his head down. We all freeze in our tracks, and Enderlox slowly pulls his head up, teeth bared and eyes filled with anger and protection.

"E-Enderlox?" Sarah squeaks, "what happened t-to your slave? We c-came to s-save you..."

Enderlox growls, making me wince, "I do NOT need protection, I am protecting."

I feel confusion swirl my mind, until Enderlox slowly unwraps his wings from around himself, revealing a scrawny boy, about his age. He's just like Sarah described, except he only had swim shorts on.

Enderlox is very protective towards this boy, you can tell in his eyes. He held him close to himself, arms wrapped around his shoulders, and tail wrapped all the way down his legs. The boy slowly looks up, his eyes change from dark gold to grey and back again.

"B-but, Enderlox," I whisper, making him look at me angrily. I take a small step back, feeling frightened under his gaze, "y-your slave w-was h-hurting you..."

I watch as the boys eyes again change from dark gold to a dark grey. He slouches his shoulders and hangs his head, closing his eyes. He seems ashamed of himself, like he just figured out what he did.

Enderlox pulls the boy closer, who just laces his fingers into his shirt, keeping his eyes closed. "He has a NAME!" Enderlox yells. I flinch at his booming voice, and so does the boy who was curled up in his lap. "You are not to call him, a slave," Enderlox hisses, "you are to call him Sky."

I notice how Enderlox starts to slur his sentences, and the boy named Sky on his lap seems to be feeling ill.

Enderlox looks down at Sky, who was clearly not feeling good anymore. He opens his eyes and they're light grey.

"Come on, Sky," Enderlox stands up, holding Sky with his legs around his waist and arms around his neck. "We're going to the doctors."

~~~Enderlox's P.O.V.~~~
When we get to the doctors they take us in right away. I set Sky on the soft bed and let go of him, both of us instantly feeling better. I sit next to him refusing to walk away.
A doctor comes in, wheeling in a tray with a few rags, test tubes and needles in small bags. I hear Sky whimper next to me, so I put my arm over his shoulder. He pulls his legs up to his chest, wrapping his arms around them.
"Okay, Sky," the doctor says unwrapping a needle from a bag, and connecting it to a syringe, (I think I used that word right!) "I just need to draw some blood for testing."
The doctor walk over to us, the empty syringe in hand. Sky whimpers again, scooting back slightly. I sigh, but I can't blame him, he's been through so much. "Just do me first," I say, holding out my arm.
He sticks the needle in the crook of my elbow, drawing the purple blood into the syringe. When he gets enough, he pulls it out, handing me a rag to put over the slightly bleeding puncture mark.
The doctor puts the blood onto the cart, throwing the needle away and putting a cap on the tube to keep the blood from escaping.
The doctor gets a new syringe and needle, walking back over to us, "may I see your arm, Sky?" He asks calmly.
Sky looks at me worriedly, so I put my arm around his shoulder, and my hand holding onto his hand. Sky closes his eyes and buries his head into my shoulder, not wanting to look at what was about to be stuck into him.
I pull Sky's arm straight, revealing his fore arm for the doctor. I hold Sky tight as the doctor pushes the needle into his arm, trying to keep him from flinching and snapping the needle. Sky whimpers in discomfort and fear, squinting his eyes.
"Shh, Sky," I coo, trying to distract him as his blood was being taken, "I'm here, your okay."
After a second the doctor takes the needle out of Sky's arm, throwing the needle away and sealing the bright red blood in the tube. Sky sighs in relief, and I rub his shoulder comfortingly. The doctor hands him a rag, and he puts it over his arm where a red drop of blood was forming.
"Okay," the doctor says, pushing the cart out of the room, "I'll be back soon with the test results." With that he left, leaving me and Sky alone in the room.
We sit for a while before I see Sky smile slightly. "Enderlox?" He asks, looking at me.
"Yes?" I respond, looking at him as well.
Sky's eyes change from a dark gold to yellow, and I could tell he was excited, "can I have a hug?" He asks, extending his arms like a child.
I sigh, "yes, Sky. You can have a hug," I say, and wrap my arms around him. I feel him wrap him wrap his arms under my own and grip me tightly. I look down at him surprised, but don't let go. I rub his arm, "you okay, Sky?" I ask.
Sky looks up at me, his eyes wavering back and forth from yellow to grey, "yeah, I'm fine. I just want a hug," he says snuggling up into my chest.
"Uh, Enderlox?" The doctor says, walking into the room, "you might want to see this, and I think you should see it alone."
I look at Sky, who's eyes were a solid dark gold. I look at him calmly, "you'll be okay, Sky. I won't walk a step away from the door."
Sky nods and let's go of me. I walk out of the room behind the doctor, closing the door behind me. I stick to my word and freeze as soon as I close the door, not taking a step.
"Let me see the clipboard," I say, reaching my hand out.
The doctor obeys and hands me the papers. "I wouldn't bother looking through your stuff," the doctor says, "everything's normal for you. Uh, you might wanna look through Sky's pretty carefully though."
I raise my eyebrow and flip to Sky's documents, looking over the numbers and results carefully. I get halfway through and stop. Eyes widening at the numbers.
Sky's not a human.
I know why he has his name.
I know why the squids captured him.
I know why they tortured him.
But they shouldn't of.
You DO NOT torture an angel.
I drop the documents on the floor, and turn back to Sky, who was watching me carefully through the door. I hear the doctor begin to speak behind me, so I slowly turn around and listen. "When ever you guys touch, you are slowly taking each others powers away. Your a demon, he's an angel. The reason it didn't show when he first came was he didn't have much hope left, and when you protected him, and cared for him, he gained his hope back, and still is."
My mood changes from confusion, to worry, to anger, then burning rage.
You do NOT break an angel.
You just don't. That is the lowest ANYONE can get, not even demons do that, not even I do that!
I roar from pure anger, letting it get to me. I try to calm myself down, not wanting to frighten Sky. I take a deep breath, slowly walking back into his room. His eyes were dark gold, not changing at all. I should have guested that's why his eyes did that.
"E-Enderlox?" Sky ask, his voice shaky, "w-what's w-wrong?"
I walk over to him and tackle him in a hug. "Don't be scared, Sky," I whisper, not letting go of him, "angels don't deserve to be scared."
Sky pulls back, looking at me, clearly confused, "w-what do you m-mean, 'angel'?"
I sigh, not wishing to continue the conversation, "Sky... You're... you're an angel. You're not human."
Sky looks at me, his eyes changing to grey, "I-I, I'm s-sorry I didn't t-tell you."
"You knew?!" I ask, anger clear in my voice.
Sky flinches, scooting back slightly, "n-no," he whispers, "b-but I should o-of known."
I instantly regret yelling at him, "Sky," I whisper, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean-" I get cut off by Sky jumping at me, wrapping his arms around my neck then starting to sob. I stand shocked for a moment, then wrap my arms around him as well.
I don't expect his tears to sting the back of my neck, so when they do, I gasp in surprise, then grin. "Sky," I say, this time happiness clear in my voice. Sky pulls back, looking at me with teary eyes, his cheeks stained with them as well. "They shouldn't hurt," I say smiling, "your tears, angels tears should feel good to a demon, cause it's horrible for an angel to cry, but your tears sting, that means you've gotten used to us! You don't think of us like the rest of the angels, you think of us as something more..." I pause and Sky grins, but I don't stop, "with a little getting used too, we could live together! You won't be forced to leave!"
Sky stares at me, his eyes practically glowing yellow, "getting used too?" He asks, eyeing me carefully.
I raise my eyebrow, smiling, "what are you thinking, Sk-?!" I'm cut off when Sky cups my cheeks, forcing my head closer and crashing his lips against my own.
Sky whimpers as the stinging pain nearly become unbearable, but then turns into pure bliss. We both moan and I feel Sky smile into the kiss.
Without opening my eyes I pull back and hug Sky, "you did it," I whisper into his ear, "you truly love me."
Sky nuzzles his head into the crook of my neck and sighs. I shiver in pleasure as his breath runs across his neck, for anything an angel did in happiness felt good. "I do love you, I love you with all my heart," he mumbles into my shoulder.
We both pull back and my eyes widen as I look behind Sky at the large white wings on his back. Sky's eyes go dark gold then he twists around, just enough to see the feathers. "Whoa," he says, stretching his new wings out slowly, since he only half knowns how to use them. I walk over to the bed where Sky is sitting and reach over his shoulder, slowly stroking one of the wings as my tail swishes in curiosity.
Sky moans slightly, closing his eyes, "hnnh, that f-feels good..." He mumbles.
I smirk and stroke the wing repeatedly, making Sky moan more. When I stop she opens his eye, a red blush dusting his face. He attempts to shake his wings, but ends up knocking the pillow off the bed.
"Ugh," I say, making Sky look up, "this is gonna have some getting used too."
