Situation: Seto fell asleep on the school-bus

~~~Brice’s P.O.V.~~~

Our only field trip of the year is over, and all of the classes are heading back on a total of three busses. I had all of the gang on my bus, along with a few random people. Surprisingly none of the jerks of the school. I guess that’s good for Seto- who is my seat partner. The poor boy gets picked on by those jerks all the time, so he gets a break for the day.

I turn my head from talking with Mitch to look at Seto, who was tiredly looking out the window. He has been tired all day, but once we got to the space exhibit ((random idea)) he perked up a bit. After that he just got extremely tired again- nearly tripping a few times trying to get back to the bus.

I smiled as Seto’s eyes slowly close, his head- that used to be resting on his hand, slowly slid down his arm. Seto jolts awake, the bus making a turn and sliding him into me. He squeaks and his face turns red. “S-Sorry, Brice…” he mumbles, scooting away and pressing himself as far as possible into the cold metal wall.

Sky jumps up from his seat behind us, staring down at Seto. He shakes his head and grabs Seto’s shoulders- making him yelp. Sky shoves Seto closer to me, then grabs one of my shoulders and pushes us together as much as possible. “See,” Sky says, earning a death-glare from Seto. “That’s much cuter!”

“Sky sit down!” The teacher yells from the front of the still moving bus, glaring at Sky with a very angry expression. Sky yelps and he forces himself down, his head disappears behind the seat.

I sigh in content and wrap my arm around the younger boys shoulder. I tangle my hand into him hair, making him purr softly.

I laugh to myself as we hit a bump in the road, Seto being shoved even closer to me. He squeaks quietly and I tug him even closer.

“Sky,” Mitch says from the seat next to us. “You did good. This is adorable!”

Sky sticks a thumb up from his seat, and the whole bus laughs. I look up at the bus driver, expecting her  to be glaring at us- but am surprised to see her staring back at us through the rear-view mirror, a smile on her face.

I smile back and look down at Seto when he rests his head on my shoulder. I hear Mitch ‘aww’ from his seat, but I don’t bother to look. Seto laces his fingers into my black shirt, his baggy grey sweatshirt making him look even cozier.

“You know what?” Seto asks, keeping his head resting on my shoulder and eyes closed. He pulls his legs up into the seat and rests his bent knees on my lap, snuggling into my side. “I’m too tired to care anymore…” I smile and pet his fluffy hair, a smile still on his face as he dozes off.
